Happy National Awkward Moment Day – I have Plenty of these. My thought, In order to achieve success you may have to suffer through an awkward moment or two in order to get there!
Take that one time in Little Rock while helping my friend Heather, who was on the advance team for President Clinton, we were trying to get the greet line together and in line and to focus to meet the President. Anybody who knows a President Clinton Greet line will know that these people are VERY …SOCIAL and very chatty! So after multiple attempts to get them to file in a single line and pipe it down, I stood on a folding chair and did one of my loud whistles (In case you do not know, I can whistle VERY LOUD), I received everybody’s attention and then I fell through the folding chair. It was visually a Carol Burnett Variety Show moment, especially trying to get untangled from that chair and after a brief sea of Kodak Instamatic Camera flashes, a few oooooooooh’s and a small little applause, a socialite public figure was born!
Happy National Awkward moment day, I would love to read about your special moment!!!
